DreamHack Weekly is now entering into the world of Dota!
During August and September we’ll be running weekly tournaments which will lead into a monthly finals! After both months a grand final will be held for a prizepool of 2000€!
Participation Info
The tournament is and will keep being capped at 16 teams. Teams from Waitinglist from previous Qualifiers have priority for this qualifier. Teams that did not make it will have Priority in following Qualifiers.
Teams that have Priority from Qualifier 1 needs to ready up minimum of 20 minutes before start time to enable their priority. Teams that do not have priority might loose their spot if a priority team joins. There is 10 Priority spots and 6 spots for new teams.
Be advised that all members of the team must check in to secure your spot.
To be eligible for priority, all members must still check in and you will be put in "waitinglist"
If you played qualifier 1, you will be picked last for open slots. New teams have priority.

Distrubution of spots in Grand Finals
- 4 Spots from Monthly Finals (Top 2 from each Monthly Final)
- 2 Spots from Open Qualifiers
- 2 Spots to the teams with highest scores from all DreamHack Weekly Tournaments. (Only 5v5s)
Winner of each Weekly Qualifier gets a spot in the Monthly Finals.
Scoring
1st: 10 Points
2nd: 8 Points
3rd-4th: 6 Points
5th-8th: 4 Points
9th-16th: 2 Points
To be eligble for score do you need to play at least 1 full game. You will not get points for just registering to the tournament.
Scores are tied to a team. In case of dispands or splits, all scores for a team stays on the original team. Scores is non transferable between teams. Exceptions for this is rebranding of a team or if a team gets picked up/dropped by an organization. These situations is up to Challengermode/DreamHack officials to rule in. Please contact Challengemode support in case of questions regarding this.
