Informations

Please note that all competitors have to be 18 years of age or older when competing in these qualifiers.

This is a PC only competition

Format

There will be three open qualifiers, connected by a point system with each qualifier awarding points. After all qualifiers have been completed the final standings will be determined by the total points from a team’s two best qualifier results. If all three qualifiers have been played the lowest result will not be taken into account.

At the end of each of the 3 open qualifiers, teams will be awarded points:

  • Rank 1: 100 Points
  • Rank 2: 75 Points
  • Ranks 3-4: 50 Points
  • Ranks 5-8: 25 Points
  • Ranks 9-16: 15 Points
  • Ranks 17-32: 10 Points

Number of teams to qualify is 12

Schedule

  • This tournament is played out on April 1st and April 2nd, 2026

Quick Rules

  • Players participating in the Regional Leagues (T1) are not allowed to participate in Rainbow Rumble
  • Some matches may get a community cast, this will be confirmed by an admin in your match chat section
  • Teams cannot refuse to be cast but admins may cancel a cast that would delay a match beyond reasonable timeframe or not following the caster guidelines
  • 1 tactical timeout of 45 seconds per team per map
  • POV Stream is allowed with delay: 180 seconds
  • Ping limit: 120
  • Any in-game issue that requires admin intervention needs to be brought in a Discord ticket immediately
  • Any ticket opened on Discord related to rule breaching should be accompanied by tournament related evidence. Protests made without picture or video evidence in relation to the match being protested may be rejected by the admin team
  • Matches will not be delayed for any reason except for force majeure cases (i.e. worldwide server issues) and at the discretion of the admin team

Residency Rules:

  • Team rosters must consist of five players residing in the regions they participate in as defined in the EML Challenger Circuit Rulebook

This means that players need to be physically present in the region they participate in when playing their matches (and at least covering the duration of the entire Rainbow Rumble) and must follow the local residency laws.

A list of allowed countries for each region can be found in the EML Challenger Circuit Rulebook but can also be consulted on the overview page of each Rumble Qualifier events.

Any player found not to be resident in the region they participate in will be immediately disqualified and will face further suspension penalties. The rest of the team may also face disqualification and/or competitive penalties.

To ensure you’re considered “resident” of a particular region, please contact the admin team at least 72 hours BEFORE any qualifier event you wish to participate in, following the protocol available in the specific ruleset.

Roster Lock:

  • A roster registered in the Open Qualifiers is locked from the moment the team checks-in on the platform for the related Open Qualifier and remains locked, if the team qualifies, the roster will remained locked through the remainder of Rainbow Rumble.

Roster Lock:

OPEN QUALIFIERS TEAMS

  • All rosters will be locked once points are earned in any of the qualifier. Roster changes are allowed until then but any change must maintain 3/5 of the Core roster to keep any points earned.
  • Core roster is decided by the players in the "active lineup", players in the "substitute" spots do not count.
  • After the roster lock is in place, existing subs on the roster can be swapped to a starting position with no penalty.
  • After the roster lock is in place, empty sub spots can be filled by free agents.
  • Only free agents and players who did not participate in any of the current stage Open Qualifiers may be added to a team.
  • Any changes that go against the set rules will result in all the teams points being removed.
