Please note that all competitors have to be 18 years of age or older when competing in these qualifiers.
This is a PC only competition
Format
There will be three open qualifiers, connected by a point system with each qualifier awarding points. After all qualifiers have been completed the final standings will be determined by the total points from a team’s two best qualifier results. If all three qualifiers have been played the lowest result will not be taken into account.
At the end of each of the 3 open qualifiers, teams will be awarded points:
- Rank 1: 100 Points
- Rank 2: 75 Points
- Ranks 3-4: 50 Points
- Ranks 5-8: 25 Points
- Ranks 9-16: 15 Points
- Ranks 17-32: 10 Points
Number of teams to qualify is 12

Quick Rules
- Players participating in the Regional Leagues (T1) are not allowed to participate in Rainbow Rumble
- Some matches may get a community cast, this will be confirmed by an admin in your match chat section
- Teams cannot refuse to be cast but admins may cancel a cast that would delay a match beyond reasonable timeframe or not following the caster guidelines
- 1 tactical timeout of 45 seconds per team per map
- POV Stream is allowed with delay: 180 seconds
- Ping limit: 120
- Any in-game issue that requires admin intervention needs to be brought in a Discord ticket immediately
- Any ticket opened on Discord related to rule breaching should be accompanied by tournament related evidence. Protests made without picture or video evidence in relation to the match being protested may be rejected by the admin team
- Matches will not be delayed for any reason except for force majeure cases (i.e. worldwide server issues) and at the discretion of the admin team
Residency Rules:
- Team rosters must consist of five players residing in the regions they participate in as defined in the EML Challenger Circuit Rulebook
This means that players need to be physically present in the region they participate in when playing their matches (and at least covering the duration of the entire Rainbow Rumble) and must follow the local residency laws.
A list of allowed countries for each region can be found in the EML Challenger Circuit Rulebook but can also be consulted on the overview page of each Rumble Qualifier events.
Any player found not to be resident in the region they participate in will be immediately disqualified and will face further suspension penalties. The rest of the team may also face disqualification and/or competitive penalties.
To ensure you’re considered “resident” of a particular region, please contact the admin team at least 72 hours BEFORE any qualifier event you wish to participate in, following the protocol available in the specific ruleset.
Roster Lock:
- A roster registered in the Open Qualifiers is locked from the moment the team checks-in on the platform for the related Open Qualifier and remains locked, if the team qualifies, the roster will remained locked through the remainder of Rainbow Rumble.

OPEN QUALIFIERS TEAMS
- All rosters will be locked once points are earned in any of the qualifier. Roster changes are allowed until then but any change must maintain 3/5 of the Core roster to keep any points earned.
- Core roster is decided by the players in the "active lineup", players in the "substitute" spots do not count.
- After the roster lock is in place, existing subs on the roster can be swapped to a starting position with no penalty.
- After the roster lock is in place, empty sub spots can be filled by free agents.
- Only free agents and players who did not participate in any of the current stage Open Qualifiers may be added to a team.
- Any changes that go against the set rules will result in all the teams points being removed.
Server Selection
- Admins reserve the right to select the match server to ensure the best competitive environment for the match if an agreement cannot be reached
Rehosts & TTO
- 1 rehost per team per map. Rehosts are non-transferrable
- 1 Tactical Timeout per team per map. TTOs are non-transferrable as they benefit both teams
RH in Preparation Phase
Before the start of the Preparation Phase
Any technical issues including the game and server, Player disconnect and or authorized software or hardware problems.
Up to the first fifteen (15) seconds of the Preparation Phase

RH in Action Phase
- Up to the first thirty (30) seconds of the Action Phase and if no damage has been taken by any Player
- Observer-related issues
- Player unable to control or move Operator
- Game mechanic issues including shooting, reloading, movement, gadgets, or equipment
Any attempt to abuse the rehost procedure will be penalised with sanctions ranging from a round loss to a map or match forfeit.
This will not be applied retroactively at the end of a map or a match, therefore this needs to be brought with evidence in a ticket immediately if a rehost process abuse is observed
Cosmetics
During EML Challenger Circuit competitions’ official matches, Players can only use the battle dress uniforms and headgears listed below:
- Operator’s default skins
- Pro R6Share teams branded cosmetics
- Six Major branded cosmetics
- Esports Programs cosmetics with the exception of the Thermite Legacy Set uniform and Headgear which is not allowed to be used
All others battle dress uniforms and headgears are banned from use in competitive play.
Using any battle dress uniforms and/or headgears that are not permitted will result in a warning for first offense and a round loss for any additional offenses. Weapon skins, weapon charms and operator background cards are not subject to any restriction.
Drone skins and operator gadget skins are all forbidden in competitive play. Players can only use the default drone and operator gadget skins. Shields have been categorized as weapons and any skin can be applied to them.
Should a team be reported and confirmed by admins for using unallowed skins during a match, the following sanctions will be applied BY THE ADMINS ONLY:

This will not be applied retroactively at the end of a map or a match, therefore this needs to be brought with evidence in a ticket immediately if an unallowed skin is observed.
Anti-Cheat
The following applications are required for participation in the Open Qualifiers and any activity that restricts, prohibits or alters their use are expressly forbidden:
- BattlEye
- Monitor System Status (MOSS) download here
- MOSS must have the Rainbow Six Siege parameter, to do so you can follow these steps: "File" → "Parameters" → "Rainbow Six" and must be recording all matches
- Please keep MOSS files created, unaltered, and stored in your computer for the next 14 days, as you may be required to hand those files for verification at any point during and after this tournament (only on the admin team request)
Substitution
No substitution will be allowed between or in ongoing maps except if both teams agree to it and can show the admin team such approval was given by both teams upon request
Substitutions should be arranged before a match lobby starts, if you have any issue with it, please open a ticket on Discord BEFORE the "go to lobby" time is over or we cannot guarantee substitution will be approved
