REKT & Ubisoft announce the APL Challenger Circuit - Rivals - Play-Ins Day 4
The APL Challenger Circuit is the Official Tier 2 Ecosystem for Rainbow6 in the APAC Region. The APL Challenger Circuit is comprised of 3 key leagues being Rivals in Oceania, Bootcamp Community Series in SEA and North Rebellion in APAC North. This Play-In tournament is the path for teams to qualify to the Regular season of the APL Challenger Circuit and compete for Prize Money & Challenger Points.
This Play-In will be held on Sunday the 10th of May, and will Qualify two teams to The APL Challenger Circuit - Rivals - Regular Stage.
THIS TOURNAMENT STARTS AT 1PM AEST.
Please note that this tournament has no connection to the BLAST R6 Global Esports Circuit, which means that no global points will be awarded in this competition for SI 2026.

Region
Oceania Region includes the following countries and regions: Australia, New Zealand and Polynesian Nations.
Format
An uncapped amount of teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket. All matches will be BO1 except for qualifying games which will be BO3.
The top 2 teams will qualify for APL Challenger Circuit - Rivals - Regular Season.
Server Selection
- Australia East
Rehosts and Timeouts
1 rehost per team per map. Rehosts are non-transferrable.
1 Tactical Time Out per team per map. TTOs are non-transferrable as they benefit both teams.
RH in Preparation Phase
- Before the start of the Preparation Phase
- Any technical issues, including the game and server, Player disconnect, and/or authorized software or hardware problems
RH in Action Phase
- Up to the first thirty (30) seconds of the Action Phase and if no damage has been taken by any Player
- Player unable to control or move Operator
- Game mechanic issues including shooting, reloading, movement, gadgets, or equipment
Cosmetics
During REKT R6 competitions’ official matches, Players can only use the battle dress uniforms and headgears listed below. All other battle dress uniforms and headgear are banned from use in competitive play:
- Operator’s default skins
- Pro League skins (gold sets)
- Pro R6Share teams branded cosmetics
- Six Major branded cosmetics
- Six Invitational branded cosmetics
- Esports Programs’ cosmetics
In case an unauthorised skin is used, this needs to be flagged in a ticket immediately with proof, no sanction will be brought retroactively at the end of a match.
Using any battle dress uniforms and/or headgears that are not permitted will result in a warning for first offense and a round loss for any additional offense. Weapon skins, weapon charms and operator background cards are not subject to any restriction.
Drone skins and operator gadget skins are all forbidden in competitive play. Players can only use the default drone and operator gadget skins.
Anti-Cheat
The following applications are required for participation in The APL Challenger Circuit - Rivals and any activity that restricts, prohibits or alters their use are expressly forbidden:
- BattlEye
- Monitor System Status (MOSS) download here
- The MOSS must have the Rainbow Six Siege parameter, to do so follow these steps: "File" -> "Parameters" -> "Rainbow Six"
- All matches must be recorded.
- All MOSS files must be created, unaltered and stored in your computer for 30 days post conclusion of the final day of play, and the Admin Team can request these files for verification at any point in this time period.
- You are obligated to ensure MOSS is correctly recording for every game played. Any issues should be immediately flagged with the Admin Team via a Discord Support Ticket.
- Any team unable to produce MOSS files of ALL players at Admin request may risk penalties such as loss of match or disqualification from the tournament.
Substitution
- No substitution will be allowed in ongoing Maps without Admin approval, substitution is allowed between maps in a multimap series.
- Substitution should be arranged before match lobby begins within your ChallengerMode Team to ensure the Admin Team and opposition team know team composition for the match. If there are any issues, please contact Admins on Discord BEFORE veto begins.
