RES Unchained 4: A BLAST DotA Slam Qualifier is an official Closed Qualifier for the BLAST SLAM VII.

Tournament Schedule
Europe, SEA and China will have an Open Qualifier Event. Each Open Qualifier Event will have 2 Open Qualifiers. An unlimited number of teams may register to play in the Open Qualifiers. 2 teams from each Open Qualifier will qualify for their respective Regional Closed Qualifier.
• Playing Time: Open Qualifiers will be played over two (2) days.
• Open Qualifier 1: 31st March
• Open Qualifier 2: 1st April
• Initial Matches start at 12:00
Tournament Format
Match Format
• Game Mode: Games will be played in Captain's Mode. If needed remakes will be made in All Pick.
• Team Seeding: Random
Stage Structure
• Single Elimination Bracket
• Initial Matches: Best-of-One (Bo1)
• Semifinals: Best-of-Three (Bo3)
• Finals: Best-of One (Bo1)(seeding purpose)
Priority Pick
• Best-of-One (Bo1): Coin toss winner receives side selection priority.
• Best-of-Three (Bo3):
○ Game 1: Coin toss winner has side selection priority.
○ Game 2: Side selection priority alternates to the other team.
○ Game 3: A new coin toss is conducted, and the winner receives priority pick.
Qualification
First (1st) and Second (2nd) placed Teams from each Open Qualifier will advance to the Closed Qualifiers.
Eligibility
• A team is allowed to play in an Open Qualifier if 3 of their players are living in the region of the Qualifier.
• A team may not try to qualify for the same event in more than one region.
• If there are any concerns or disputes about a country’s region and/or player, a team should contact a tournament official to raise the issue with proof of residence.
• With BLAST approval - teams can reach out to dota@blast.tv to request approval to play in a region outside of their own region.
Exception
In the case where a region does not have its own Open Qualifier the teams from those regions will be allowed to play in a specified other region.
List of Regions
EU: Western Europe, Eastern Europe, CIS, Americas, MENA.
SEA: Southeast Asia, Oceania.
China: Mainland China, Taiwan and Hongkong.
Starting the Match
• Matches must commence as soon as opponents are assigned in the round.
• If both teams are advanced by default (e.g. due to a no-show, forfeit, or absence of an opponent), each team will be granted a 10-minute grace period to assemble their full roster in the lobby and begin play.
• If one team fails to appear or complete their roster within the grace period, the opposing team may:
○ Please use the chat feature and raise your issue to the tournament admin.
○ Provide an admin with a screenshot of the lobby clearly showing the absence of the opposing team or its members.
• Round schedules are dependent on the completion of the previous match and may be delayed accordingly.

If a lobby needs to be manually created, the lobby for each game must have the following settings:
Game name: RES.UNC OQ Team A vs Team B (change it according to the team names)
Game mode: Captains Mode
Lobby password: enter a password and share it with opponent
Server: your region server
Lobby visibility: Public
Enable cheats: OFF
Selection priority: Automatic (coin toss)
Penalty-Radiant: No Penalty
Penalty-Dire: No Penalty
Spectators: Disabled
Dota TV Delay: 15 Minutes
Pausing: Unlimited
Series: Bo1 or Bo3
Bots: Off
Servers
EU : West Europe
SEA: Singapore
Administration
The administration has the right to amend, remove, or otherwise change or overrule the rules described above to make the competition as fair as possible. The head admin has the right to overrule any statement of the rules described above or the decision made by the tournament administrators. The instructions of administrators should always be obeyed and followed. Failure to do so may result in penalties. Tournament Administration will make all decisions in accordance with the provisions of these regulations and will bring them to the attention of the Participants, escalating key issues to administrative leads if necessary. In case of dispute, the Tournament Administration will be responsible for making a decision. Decisions on all disputes are final and not open to further appeal. Voice conversations recording and/or publication of the conversations with admins and/or opponents without their permission is strictly forbidden.
No-show
Teams that do not enter the lobby in time with their complete roster will be considered forfeiting the match/series. A default win will be awarded to the opponent team that is waiting.
