Man City Esports was established in 2016 as a FIFA team. In 2019, Man City partnered with leading gaming and entertainment organisation FaZe Clan and, in 2023, with Gen.G in two unique collaborations that have impacted audiences all over the world. In 2021, the club took a unprecedented step in the gaming world, being the first football club to establish a Fortnite team, currently competing in both NA and EU.
