Hosting and Joining a Match
Match Creation:
- Matches are hosted via BGMI’s custom room feature. The team captain or a designated player will receive a custom room ID and password from Challengermode after the bracket is generated.
- The hosting team is responsible for creating the custom room in BGMI with the provided settings (e.g., map, mode, player slots, and perspective—TPP or FPP).
- Ensure the room is set to "Duo" mode with the correct map and settings as specified in the tournament rules on Challengermode.
- Note: Test the custom room settings before the match to confirm they align with tournament requirements.
Joining a Match:
- All players must join the custom room using the room ID and password shared via Challengermode’s match page.
- Join the room at least 5 minutes before the scheduled match time to avoid delays or forfeits.
- Verify your in-game username matches the one registered on Challengermode to avoid confusion.
Match Settings:
- Maps and specific settings (e.g., Erangel, Miramar, Vikendi, TPP/FPP, or point system) will be communicated via Challengermode before each round.
- Ensure your game is updated to the latest version of BGMI to avoid compatibility issues or crashes.
- A stable internet connection (preferably wired or high-speed Wi-Fi) is critical to prevent lag or disconnections during matches.
- Note: Follow any additional settings (e.g., auto-pickup, HUD layout) as per tournament guidelines to ensure fair play.
Reporting Results:
- After each match, the team captain must report results (e.g., placement, kills, or total points) on Challengermode’s match page.
- Take screenshots of the final match results screen in BGMI to resolve any disputes. Upload them to Challengermode if required.
- Tip: Both teams should confirm results on Challengermode to avoid discrepancies. Contact admins immediately if issues arise.
