We are proud to announce the Polaris Series PUBG 2018
A true Battle Royale LAN Arena where participants will get a chance to compete for a prizepool of 500.000 NOK ($64,000 USD)

The tournament sign-ups are on a first come, first served basis and will take place offline in Oslo, Norway between 29th of September and 2nd of October on The Polaris LAN Pro Series event. The tournament is a true community tournament done in collaboration between Polaris and PUBG.no / Bamble Dream Team. our vision for the Polaris Series PUBG tournament is to do a true Battle Royale LAN arena where up-to 800 players will be able to sign up, secure tickets, bring their devices and battle it out for a legendary prizepool.

IMPORTANT - The tournament is on a first come, first served basis with an active waitlist should the sign-ups fill up. Should the ticket sell out, we will not be able to accomodate or issue additional tickets due to phsyical venue capacity.

Check-in will take place at the admin desk on the LAN event where you need to confirm that you and your team have valid LAN tickets and have registered to the tournament on Challengermode.

Prize Payout Information##
Prize money will be paid 30 - 90 days after the tournament. Each winning team will receive all the necessary information regarding the payment of the prize money at the event. This is the responsibility of Polaris and is not handled in anyway by challengermode.
How to find Lobbyname and Password
Please make sure you fulfill the following
Your PUBG ingame name matches the name you set as PUBG ingame name on Challengermode. If these doesnt match will you not get points.
When you get your lobby details here on the site, please make your way into the lobby as soon as possible, and move to the correct squad. Trolling in the lobby will result in a kick from that game.
Streamers must have a minimum of 7 minute delay on the stream while playing the tournament.

- By participating in this tournament you accept the rules and regulations in this document, as well as instructions given by the admins
- It is the players own responsibility to read and understand the rules.
- The players needs to bring their own computer (PC) with their own equipment to participate.
- To participate in this tournament you need a LAN ticket
- All players must be physically present at the Polaris Pro Series LAN during the entire tournament period.
- Admins reserve the right to change, modify or adapt all rules in order to uphold and maintain fairness and good sportsmanship.
- Admins also reserves the right to make judgement on cases that are not specifically supported or detailed in these tournament rules. They can also go against the rules, in extreme cases, to preserve fair play and good sportsmanship.
- If any provision of the League rules is invalid or impracticable in whole or in part this will not affect the validity of the remaining part of these rules. If any of the rules are invalid or impracticable in whole or in part, an adaption will be made in order to preserve the original intent and purpose of the ruleset.
- All players and teams are to uphold the spirit of fair play at all times.
- Polaris.gg does not condone any unsportsmanlike conduct. Examples of these would be, but are not limited to; Insulting other players / staff / audience based on gender, sexuality, skin color, etc. Attempting to circumvent tournament policy. Abusing the ruleset. Attempting to gain an unfair advantage by means of illegal tech or software as determined by the tournament admins.
- Communication between admins and participants regarding the tournament(s) is deemed confidential. Participants / admins are not allowed to publish such communication without the written consent of Polaris.gg.
- Polaris.gg will not be held responsible for any additional agreements made between individual players or teams. Any such agreements that contradict the tournament rules are considered illegal / attempting to abuse the ruleset.
- Penalties / reactions are made by the admins when a conflict arises during a match.
Communication##
- Every team needs a team captain that will be responsible for being available on Discord at all times during the tournament. Discord will be used to inform players about important information.
- All communication with admins should either be done through Discord or by making direct contact with an admin at the Admin Desk at the PUBG area.
Disqualification##
- All kind of intentional bug abuse will be punished.
- All kinds of exploits or cheats will result in a permanent ban
- Players are required to record replays and save them for 7 days.
- Players are required to take screenshots of the endgame screen in the event that the observer client chrash.
- Offensive accountnames will not be tolerated and will result in a disqualification
Format##
- All teams are placed in a bracket with up to 18 teams. The amount of brackets and number of teams in each bracket will depend on the amount of teams participating.
- There will be 6 matches, with a longer break after the third match.
- The teams placed highest after six matches, qualify for a final bracket that will be played the next day. The amount of teams qualifying will depend on the amount of teams participating and the amount of qualification brackets needed. This will be announced before the tournament starts.
- The final bracket will be played with 16 teams. There will be 8 matches, with a longer break after the fourth match.
- All teams are placed in a bracket, the admins can change these if necessary until the start of the tournament to ensure a fair game.

Server restarts
A server MAY be restarted if:
- 8 or more players fail to connect to the server.
- If more than 50% of a team fail to connect to the server
- If several players are # unknown, to the point that reporting results is not possible.
- If the lobbyhost or broadcasters fail to connect to the lobby.
Disconnects during the game will not be considered unless a big amount of players disconnect.
